Denise started her personal yoga practice years ago in college while searching for peace of mind during the chaotic and busy times of balancing school, work and her personal life. She was attracted to the peace of mind and the “wholeness” that yoga brings.

After years of searching and trying many disciplines she finally found a place she could really call home in her heart and feel in every cell of her body. She took two classes of Shakti Naam Yoga at a music festival and was lit up from the sacred sound, breath, mudras, and movements. She knew in that moment that she found her calling. It was as if someone turned on the flood lights. There was a complete download of harmonizing energy throughout her mind, body and spirit. This experience brought a deep knowing on a cellular level that this was the new powerful healing path she was to learn and share with her clients.

As a Physical Therapist she is always looking for new ways to tap into the body’s innate healing capacity. We are built to be our own pharmacies and Naam Yoga offers all of that and more. It was so exciting to find a powerful practice that simultaneously and systematically brings healing to every part of the mind-body by combining rhythm, mudras, stretching, breath, mantra and movement in one enjoyable spiritual exercise routine. It is the science of harmonizing unhealthy cellular memories and establishing beneficial vibrations within the physical and subtle bodies. During class, students are guided through sequences that infuse every part of the body with uplifting thoughts, words and feelings. Most of all this practice is fun, challenging and engaging both mentally and physically. Clients leave with a new and invigorated Spirit!

Denise’s unique gift is that she has combined both of them in her practice as a Physical Therapist, Wellness Coach and Naam Yoga Practitioner. It is because of Dr. Joseph Michael Levry, the founder of Naam Yoga teachings and Divine Spiritual Wisdom, along with his unwavering commitment to bring his life’s work to every corner of our planet and to all people that has inspired Denise to do the same. 

Denise’s public yoga classes and private sessions support you to "spiritualize your workout regime” and “work out” your “Spirit". Your body is a beautiful Temple inside and out, and your wealth is your health! Whether your yoga practice is well seasoned or if yoga is new to you, she will be there to support you fully, safely, lovingly and with an uplifting spirit.

She will support you right where you are with compassion and an open heart.

When studying privately sessions are personalized, focused hours in which we can design a home practice for you, fine tune your current practice, or guide you through a different practice each time. Sessions can be held at your home, office, an outdoor space, or at the studio locally.

Private yoga sessions are a great way to ensure that you are practicing poses with optimal alignment for maximum benefit and longevity. They are wonderful to assist in your recovery from injury. Privates are the best way to learn yogic techniques personalized just for you and what your needs are at any different time in life. They are great for being sure you are accurately utilizing the tools of mantra meditation, mudra therapy (hand seals) and breathwork (pranayama) for optimal healing. Sessions are also a very effective way to simply deepen your practice in a safe manner for your body, mind and soul.
